Zero Waste Action by PT ALAM SCIENTIA ASIA
PT Alam Scientia Asia is an SME company in the field of healthy food and beverage manufacturing that seeks its participation in supporting the success of SDGs No. 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by implementing Zero Waste production that is sustainable and good for the environment. One of the superior products of PT Alam Scientia Asia is Black Garlic. Black Garlic is a superfood product derived from garlic which is processed using a special fermentation oven machine for 20-30 days. In the production process, there is side waste in the form of garlic skin and black garlic skin. We process this skin waste into organic compost and ecoenzymes which we then distribute to environmental communities (Komunitas Bank Sampah) in Bogor. We do this as an act of care and responsibility in sustaining the environment.
